1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Recroute ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Recroute provides an AI-powered pre-interview screening platform that allows organisations to create structured assessments, distribute them to candidates via secure links, and receive AI-scored evaluations.

3. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service as a hiring organisation, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Use the Service to discriminate against candidates on the basis of protected characteristics
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Share or resell access to the Service without written permission

5. Candidate Access

Candidates access the Service via time-limited, encrypted URLs. No candidate account is required. By sending an assessment link, you represent that you have a legitimate recruitment purpose and that the candidate has been informed of the assessment process.

6. AI Scoring

The Service uses artificial intelligence to evaluate candidate responses. AI scores are intended as a decision-support tool and should not be the sole basis for hiring decisions. You are responsible for ensuring your use of AI-assisted screening complies with applicable employment laws.

7. Content and Data

  • Your Content: You retain ownership of all interview templates, questions, and rubrics you create.
  • Candidate Responses: Candidate recordings and responses are stored securely and subject to the retention periods defined by your subscription plan.
  • AI-Generated Scores: Scores and analysis generated by the Service are provided for your use in connection with the Service.

8. Subscription and Payment

Paid features are available through subscription plans. Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recroute shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
